Coil Grab — Up to 45 Ton
Coil grabs lift steel, aluminum and wire coils by clamping the outside or the inside diameter. The grip is purely mechanical, closing on the weight of the coil, so nothing has to be powered or controlled from the crane.
Every Coil Grab is built to order at our Pithampur works near Indore and supplied direct to steel plants, service centres and fabricators across India. We size it against the crane it will hang from and the material it has to carry, proof load test it before despatch, and send the test certificate out with the machine.

- Delivery: By road from Pithampur, Indore to any plant in India, on a flatbed or trailer to suit the size of the piece.
- Certification: Proof load test certificate and material test certificates issued with the machine, to the relevant IS standard.
- Fitting up: Our engineers can attend site to check the fit against your crane hook, bay clearances and the coil or plate dimensions you actually handle.
- Spares and repair: Wear pads, liners and pins are held at Indore, and a device that has been in service can come back to the works for repair and re-certification.
- Commercial: Quoted in Indian rupees, ex-works Pithampur, with GST invoiced separately.

Should I choose a coil grab or a C hook?
